What Will You Do?

  • You will be responsible for the delivery of business process and performance management engagements, working with finance leadership of commercial companies to execute on large, complex engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions.
  • Deliver on Hyperion application projects, meeting clients tactical and strategic requirements over a full project life cycle.
  • Become fully engaged in deployment activities providing technical guidance to the project team and work with business and functions to map planning and budgeting, and reporting business requirements against Hyperion Planning leading practice design considerations.
  • Provide technical "know-how" around Hyperion Planning and Budgeting, Planning and Budgeting Cloud and Public Sector Planning and Budgeting, Oracle Business Intelligence and SmartView software installation, architecture, dimensional configuration, business functionality, data integration, and process workflow (e.g., validation rules, process control).

    Person should be proficient in the following areas:
    Web forms, Metadata, Business rules, Financial Data Quality Management (FDM), System reports, Smartview, General setup and application security, and end user support.

  • Project roles will include conducting operational assessments to analyze our client's current enterprise processes, organization, and technology environment in order to determine the optimal operating model, driving value through the CFO organization.
  • Work with different groups within the organization (accounting, FP&A, and operations).
  • Communicate with process stakeholders and customers at senior executive levels.
  • Mentor and develop team members within the Business Transformation practice.
  • Define and manage process improvement implementations which support the optimal technology solution.
  • Perform project management activities.
  • Develop thought leadership materials and participate in in business development activities.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant professional services and/or specific, relevant industry experience required.
  • 5+ years of direct EPM implementation / support / upgrade experience in the Hyperion suite is required.
  • Implementation experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, PBCS and Smartview is required.
  • 1+ years of data management and/or data architecture experience with commercial clients
  • 1-2 years of experience with technical data manipulation tools is required.
  • Requires a Bachelors degree.
  • Must be flexible for travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Federal Financial Management experience.
  • Close Consolidation and Budgeting process experience.
  • Knowledge of the cross-product interoperability of the Hyperion suite and/or best practices is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business analysis, decision-making and the ability to work with all levels of management is preferred.

  • Demonstrated success with implementation of the following strategic methods:
    business process re-engineering (BPR), process improvement, business case development (including ROI calculations), quality and process frameworks, and organizational design is preferred.
  • Six Sigma or PMP is preferred.
  • MBA is preferred.
