Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for an All Source Research Analyst with mid-level experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) in providing analytical support to a diverse, forward-leaning team and a dynamic and rewarding mission.

The ideal candidate will be a mid-careerist with several years of experience conducting analysis and research, preparing assessments of world events, developing and maintaining analytical procedures in collaboration with IC partners, and collecting data to support IC activities.A multi-INT background, with a working knowledge of either HUMINT, SIGINT, MASINT, IMINT, and/or GEOINT is preferred.Good sound critical thinking skills will be crucial to the candidate's ability to positively impact our customer's mission in unique, innovative ways.The candidate must be a self-starter, but also proficient in working in a team environment.Analytical experience in Near East and South and Central Asia issues is preferred.

This position does not require field deployments, however deployment experience to Afghanistan or Iraq are a plus.


The successful candidate will be comfortable working in collaboration with our customer s staff to support their critical mission.He/she will help the team guide the development of advanced ideas and analytical findings into final products and/or briefings.This position demands a candidate who is able to work independently as well as under the occasional guidance of our customer's staff analysts.He/she must be able to communicate well with the rest of the customer team to make professional connections within the customer organization and beyond.Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.

A working knowledge of searching IC databases is required and a working knowledge of Google Earth is preferred.A working knowledge of Word and Excel applications is also required.A working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro applications is a plus.


This position is located in McLean, Virginia. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 3 are a Bachelors degree in military history, political science, international relations, security studies, intelligence analysis, or other related discipline and five (5) years of experience in military intelligence issues. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 4 are a Bachelors degree military history, political science, international relations, security studies, intelligence analysis, or other related discipline and nine (9) years of experience in military intelligence issues. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.


Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
